According to the predictions of the Global Compact of the United Nations on Human Rights, Labor Standards and Environmental Protection, announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) in January 1999, there are ten principles framed into four categories, which Funcorp Consulting pledges to respect:

 

PROTOCOL OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

 

1. Human Rights

Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights within their sphere of influence. 

Report any abuse of human rights. Business should make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

2. Labor Standards

 Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining. The elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour. The effective abolition of child labour. The elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

 3. Environment

Business should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges. Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility. Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

4. Anti-Corruption

 Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

 

Funcorp Consulting acknowledges the scope of these ten principles and promises to try to respect them in their conduct.

1. Share and contribute to the idea that building a more just, sustainable and fair world is possible; placing value on concepts such as responsibility, solidarity, tolerance, respect, effort and benefit sharing.

Exercise joint responsibility to our environment, committing with its development, promoting social equity, non-discrimination by gender, religion, race or culture, respect for the environment and defending human rights and dialogue and ongoing debate, demonstrating that acting is the best way to contribute to the progress of our society. 

3. Recognize the necessary responsibility of all organizations and groups, such as large companies, SMEs, government, media, NGOs, national and international agencies, colleges and professional and business associations, trade unions, universities and business schools, and of course all citizens, consumers and workers. We are all part of this commitment and we can all be the solution, leaving aside individual interests for the common good.

4. Bringing Social Responsibility to society, the ordinary citizens, the present generation and future, through education and awareness, so that we all act responsibly in our daily behaviors.

5. To promote and disseminate the culture of responsibility and spread it around us, among all types of organizations, groups and citizens. In this world full of media is so important to do things right and make them public.
